PASIGHAT, May 3: East Siang Deputy Commissioner Tayi Taggu accompanied by the DDSE O. Tabing and Ruksin EAC J. Tabing today visited the East Siang Sainik School (ESSS) to take stock of various developmental activities and was updated by the school Principal Commander Praveen Kumar Pola of the progress of infrastructural work at the site during the visit. 
Later, while addressing the school fraternity and cadets, DC Taggu stated that the lone Sainik School of Arunachal Pradesh was striving towards becoming one of the best educational institutions through quality education and all round development of the cadets. Taggu assured that District Administration would provide all possible support to the school and emphasized that the cadets of the school must be provided the best education and co-curricular activities. All necessary amenities and infrastructure required must be in place in the best possible way setting an example, he added. The DC while calling for concerted effort from all stakeholders directed the executing agencies for immediate completion of electrification and through the power supply to the newly constructed campus so that the school could be reopened and start offline classes for the students of all batches, without further delay. 
The DC advised the cadets to be attentive, hardworking and dedicated in studies for brilliant careers ahead and stressed on the need of preserving own rich traditional customs and culture. The state was known for maintaining its aged-old culture and it should be further preserved for the future generation, he added in his address.
