PASIGHAT, Mar 9: East Arunachal Lok Sabha MP Ninong Ering was given a rousing reception at Tarak village, 20 KM away from headquarters Pangin of Siang district. A newly constructed Dere (Community Hall), constructed by RWD was inaugurated by the HGB Tate Jerang today in presence of MP Ering and Siang SP D. Jini.

The MP attended the inaugural function of Tarak Dere for which 25 Lakhs was funded by him under his MPLAD fund. While speaking on the occasion, MP Ering advised the villagers to take proper care and maintenance of the community halls and use the assets for promotion of age-old tradition and culture and work for betterment, peace and communal harmony. He greeted the people on the auspicious occasion of Aran Festival and assured to take up the headquarters issue with the state’s Chief Minister Pema Khandu, Power and Industries Minister Tamiyo Taga and local MLA Tapang Taloh Ering. Stating that socio-economic development could only be achieved in society that have peace and total control of resources, the MP appealed the people to be cooperative to solve the issue amicably through dialogue/discussions. Responding to public grievances, he also assured to take up compensation related issues of Trans Arunachal Highway project on priority with the appropriate authorities on priority.
