ITANAGAR, Sep 22: In the wake of reported vandalisation of an ambulance during the 12-hour capital bandh called by AAPSU on September 19 last, the Chief Medical Superintendent, Tomo Riba Institute of Health & Medical Sciences, RD Khirme has appealed the district administration along with stakeholders to ensure that emergency ambulance service should not be disturbed in anyway, even during a bandh situation.
Asserting that not only patients, but the ambulance services are also being used for ferrying doctors during emergency cases, Khirme said if the trend continues then it will be the patients who will be at the receiving end.
