Khonsa, Mar 21: The Election Expenditure Monitoring Teams convened a meeting today under the chairmanship of Vinay G.M., IRS, the election expenditure observer, to uphold transparency and fairness in the electoral process. Attended by Treasury Officer Mino Tayeng, ASP Aditya Singh, IPS,  AROs,Nodal Officers, political parties, and media teams at the Kamlesh Joshi Conference Hall, Khonsa, the meeting aimed to enhance monitoring mechanisms and foster collaboration among the teams.
Discussions centered on adhering to guidelines and protocols to prevent malpractices. Vinay emphasized the importance of diligence and impartiality, urging teams to maintain a level playing field for all candidates.Strategies for leveraging technology and data analytics were discussed to address discrepancies promptly.
In compliance with Election Commission directives, the meeting concluded with a commitment to uphold democratic values and ensure fair opportunities for all stakeholders involved.
Meanwhile, ARO 56-Khonsa West (ST) Assembly Constituency, conducted training on nominations for political parties and aspiring candidates at mini secretariat.
