Roing, Dec 23:  Election Commissioner, ECI,  Arun Goel, on a tour to Lower Dibang Valley district visited the 21- Bolung Polling Station at GHSS, Bolung and 16- Roing Polling Station at the GHSS, Roing and interacted with the AEROs, BLOs and voters of the area. He reviewed the detailed data of the polling station, and enquired about the procedures followed for verification of voters details and the preparedness of personnel.
During a meeting with the DEO, EROs and AEROs, Goel advised all to try for 100% enrolment of eligible voters in the Electoral Roll in the district to improve the Electors Population Ratio. He stressed on the purification of E Roll and asked all to take efforts in ensuring that all genuine dead, shifted and absent voters should be deleted after following  due process. 
DEO cum DC Soumya Saurabh gave a brief about the district and the electoral statistics of Lower Dibang Valley district. She assured to work towards cent percent enrolment of genuine voters in the district. 
ERO cum EAC Pime Keche suggested the VVPATs to be made more robust to do away with the problems faced during elections due to its sensitivity in use in Arunachal Pradesh, where the terrain is difficult. She also highlighted the problems and glitches faced in ERO net.1.
