PASIGHAT, May 16:Apex Professional University observed its 5th Annual Day at the Pasighat Tourist Lodge auditorium on Monday with great zeal. Students of the university presented enthralling performances at the function, which commenced with welcome speech by the Chancellor, Acharya Dhanwant Singh.

DC Tamiyo Tatak and SP Prashant Gautam graced the occasion as Chief Guest and Guest of Honour respectively.

Addressing the gathering, DC congratulated and thanked the university authority in particular and faculties, staff members and student community as a whole for their esteemed contributions. Education plays a great role in life and getting proper education is very necessary to get success in life, he said. Tatak urged the students to refrain from the race of mere academic excellence and asked them to focus on different values and life skills which would prepare them for progressive life.

The DC stressed for starting of job oriented courses and to introduce campuses in other parts of Arunachal Pradesh to cater local community.

SP Gautam also spoke and felicitated the achievers and opined that such celebration provides the students a larger platform to interact with their peers. Sports and Arts act as a great bridge between different cultural outlooks, he stated.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. JN Das presented the five years growth reports of the university and shared his views on developmental issues. Registrar VS Moray also spoke on the occasion.

Among prominent personalities, Flight Lieutenant Neha Chaudhary (ALG) and ADC Tatdo Borang were also present on the occasion.
