 ITANAGAR, Mar 21: Highlighting the pathetic condition and plight of students of various primary and secondary schools under Namsai District as well as shortage of teachers, the Adi Students Union has appealed to the Education Minister to draw measures for revamping the education scenario in the area.

Also informing that many schools in the said area are functioning without black board, desk and benches with majority of teachers absent from their duties, AdiSU has called upon the Education Minister and particularly the education department to provide immediate funds for procurement of basic amenities and action against the irregular teachers.

It further suggested for initiating smart classes in secondary and higher secondary schools across the Adi dominated areas with regular classes in career counselling and guidance for students.
