PASIGHAT, June 27:  East Siang DC Sonalika Jiwani has emphasized the need for adopting sustainable approach in implementation of government projects and infrastructures to achieve holistic development goals of the district and also inter- departmental coordination to align development goals. The DC was speaking while chairing her first monthly District level Monitoring Committee (DLMC) meeting of East Siang District here today. Jiwani also asked to chart Action Plan of all departments.
The DC also asked all government departments particularly departments providing essential services to integrate with the ICCC ( Integrated Control and Command Centre) , Smart City Pasighat for ease of citizen services through the common platform.
For economic empowerment of farmers of East Siang, the DC asked for facilitating market linkages for the produce.
The DC also asked for maintaining utmost quality and adhere to target timeline for infrastructure projects and various  welfare and beneficiary oriented schemes during the review meeting on central sponsored projects, PM & CM flagship schemes and state plan schemes .
