PASIGHAT, Mar 27: East Siang Deputy Commissioner Tayi Taggu has asked to speed up completion of priority projects in the district during the DLMC meeting held today. The DC said this while reviewing the physical and financial progress of all ongoing Central and State Sponsored schemes, PM & CM Flagship schemes, PMC and Smart City projects.
He particularly stressed on projects for the health and education and essential services sectors, which are key development indicators adding that adherence to quality and time bound completion of the key projects is a must at any cost.
The DC also asked to step up proactive efforts to achieve saturation targets for flagship schemes. DDSE Odhuk Tabing informed that 18 Schools have been identified for merging with nearby feeder schools in line with the state government’s initiative for optimum human resource management.
Status of Smart City projects and PMC projects also featured in the comprehensive presentations. The meeting was attended by Jt DHS Dr.T. Tali, CEO, PSCDCL Dr. Manjuli Komut and HoDs among others.
