PASIGHAT, Jun 24:  The East Siang District Administration has  issued an Advisory   in view of the heavy rainfall and monsoon period and with rivers and streams in full spate. As prevention measure, the general public has been  cautioned to avoid  from venturing into River Siang for fishing, swimming etc to avoid  any untoward incidents.
People living in the low lying areas( both left & right bank of river Siang)  viz. Jarku, Paglek, SS Mission, Jarkong,Banskota, Berung,Sigar,Borguli, Seram, Kongkul , Namsing and Mer areas nearby river Siang are advised to remain alert during rainy season.
