SEPPA, May 18: Following the recent 72-hour bandh called by various organizations in the state capital as well as in East Kameng district, Seppa Police arrested  21 people (13 Males and 8 Females) and served notices to ten more. Police has also arrested two government servants for participating in the bandh call and rally.
Police also seized mobile phones with incriminating materials. Evidence of causing illegal bandh calls through sharing messages, audio and videos through social media has been taken on record.
They misled gullible people particularly vegetable vendors, commercial vehicle drivers and the business fraternity of East Kameng and caused immense hardship, claimed the police.
A letter to Deputy Commissioner, East Kameng has been sent for intimating the participation of government officials and further disciplinary action as deemed fit. Further investigation is going on to catch more persons involved.
Police has also registered four different FIRs against the arrested persons, stated a press statement from SP East Kameng, Rahul Gupta.
