PASIGHAT, Dec. 19:  Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar has underlined the role of Deputy Commissioners in transforming   their respective districts in all parameters of development viz. social sectors, infrastructure, digital connectivity, agri & allied productivity, livelihood sector etc.  Reviewing the Action Taken report of Arunachal I to IX  “e-Pragati” meetings here today at CHF Auditorium at the tenth Arunachal e-Pragati meeting , the Chief Secretary stressed on result oriented approach  by ensuring whether the developmental goals are achieving their target service delivery to the people of the state in a time-bound manner. “You have to bring convergence at the ground level,” he added calling for convergence efforts. The two-day tenth Arunachal e-pragati meeting began today chaired by the Chief Secretary.
Citing the importance of Sarkar Aapke Dwar  in bringing service delivery of various government schemes  to the doorstep of the people in the rural & interior areas in particular, the CS called for increasing its frequency.
The meeting also took stock of the status &  achievements made by respective districts viz, Svamita,PM –Svanidhi,  Ayushmann Bharat, Jal Jeevan Mission, Ujjawala schemes, Jan dhan yojana , Universal vaccination coverage, Mission Shiksa  PM Awas Yojana, Deen Dayal Uphadyay Yojana, PMGSY I  & II , vocal for local initiative, National Horticulture Mission, tourism , SWAN,etc  and the way forward in revitalizing the education sector in particular through various interventions. 
The CS also asked the DCs to choose one Aspirant Block in every district and make effect to saturate all beneficiary related schemes at the earliest.
The DCs also shared the issues of their respective districts, challenges including best practices adopted.
On livelihood sector, formation of SHGs & Road map was one of the key agenda of the meeting,  the CS asked for formation of more SHGs, FPOs & cluster based organisations . He also interacted with SHG members  . The afternoon session of the meeting focused on Sustainable Developmental Goals, (SDGs), discussion on Pakke  Reserve Declaration 2047, Action Plan on Drug De-addiction.The afternoon session of the meeting was chaired by  Anindo Majumdar, IAS Retired , Advisor to Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh, SDG.

Commissioners, Principal Secretary, Secretaries Principal Conservator of Forests (PPCF), Deputy Commissioners  among others  are   attending  the two-day tenth e-Pragati meeting. The monthly monitoring & review meeting of the state government is for promoting pro-active governance & ensure timely implementation of projects & schemes for the benefit of the people.
The e-Pragati meeting is being  organized by the Department of Finance,,Planning & Investment in collaboration with East Siang District Administration. DIPRO
