ITANAGAR, Jun 6: The Government of Arunachal Pradesh in its endeavour to give impetus to digital governance organized a training session on e-Cabinet system for nodal officers of all the departments today. The training was conducted by the Department of Cabinet Affairs in collaboration with National Informatics Centre (NIC) at Civil Secretariat. A total of sixty-five participants from various departments participated in the training.
The e-Cabinet system for the state was launched by Chief Minister Pema Khandu at Seijosa during the Special Cabinet Session for Pakke Declaration 2047 held on 13th November 2021.
Further, the first e-Cabinet Meeting using the e-Cabinet portal was held on February 24 earlier this year at State Cabinet Conference Room, Civil Secretariat.
e-Cabinet (https://ecabinet.arunachal.gov.in) is a highly secured end to end ICT solution to automate all activities of cabinet meetings. It facilitates electronic flow of information from all Departments to Cabinet Department, connecting all Commissioners and Secretaries as well as Cabinet Ministers over a common digitized platform. The system enables all the Cabinet Ministers to access the cabinet documents from anywhere and anytime. The system is aimed towards creation of a Digital Institutional Memory of all cabinet decisions in an electronic form for an easy access by all concerned stakeholders.
