AALO, Nov 26: The District Task Force for Special Routine Immunization took status of the Immunization works carried out in the district under the chairmanship of West Siang Deputy Commissioner Penga Tato on Thursday.
The DC exhorted the doctors to give full vaccination coverage to the remaining target groups to eradicate many of the ailments from our society. He also insisted to check expiry and unprotected doses that may harm the children. The DMO Dr. Dubom Bagra urged all doctors to deliver quality services and keep close rapport with patients, prepare micro plan by 12th December and there should not be laxity in submitting report-returns in time for onward submission to government.
Dr. Sarugbam Victoria MO WHO, who attended as Resource Person also spelt on her observation and gave useful tips. Dr. Tomar Kamkai, DFWO cum DIO Gave detail deliberations on status of Har Ghar Dastak Covid-19. 
The MOs also spelt out their respective problems in handling the twin issues of Immunization and Covid-19 vaccination due to lack of funding to carry out govt. multiple nature of works, norms and instructions. Logistic support is a must to carry out the tasks ahead in time. DIPRO
