ITANAGAR, May 28: In yet another breakthrough against drugs menace, Naharlagun police arrested a drug peddler and seized 146 gm heroin on Thursday.
Speaking to media, SDPO Naharlagun  Dekio Gumja said "Acting on a tip-off on May 27 at 2130 hrs, a team led by me, OC Inspector Khiksi Yangfo, SI SS Jha conducted a surprise raid at E-Sector, Naharlagun at the rent house of one Joseph Kino. During the  raid, suspected heroin in two pouches weighing 146.41 gram, cash (sale proceeds) Rupees 1,50,000, Mobile phones etc were seized."
Accordingly, case vide Naharlagun PS Case No-89/21 u/s 21 (b) NDPS Act has been registered and taken up for investigation, stated the SDPO.
