ITANAGAR, Jun 6: Continuing its crackdown on drugs, the West Siang Police today arrested three persons and recovered contraband drugs suspected to be brown sugar.
The raid was carried out by a team led by OC Police Station, Kamba at the residence of the drug peddler. 
Search was conducted in presence of independent witnesses and 8 syringes, 3 vials & 9 boxes containing suspected brown sugar weighing 118 grams was found and seized. The arrested have been identified as Moi Rame, 27, Bomto Bagra, 24 and Nurin@Gedar Karbak, 24.

The main drug peddler who is a resident of ADC Complex, Kamba is said to be absconding and Police are on the lookout for him. Meanwhile an FIR has been registered at PS Kamba for further investigation.
