ITANAGAR, May 17:The Directorate of Youth Affairs has congratulated Muri Linggi on scaling Mount Everest. Mother of four daughters, Linggi, 40 with Pemba Chhoti Sherpa reached the highest summit of Mt Everest on May 14 at 8 am. A native of Roing, Lower Dibang Valley District, she has now become the third women from Arunachal Pradesh to scale Mt. Everest after Tine Mena and Anshu Jamshenpa. The Department plans a grand reception ceremony and flag-in function upon her return.
