Itanagar, Mar 28: The second semester students of Political Science Department, Dera Natung Government College, Itanagar completed a week-long field survey among the college going students as a part of their Environmental studies paper. 
They conducted one- to- one interview of 250 college going students from various colleges around the ICR region to learn about their opinion on the environmental related issues such as waste management system, water pollution, deforestation and the legislation related to it.
The week long field survey was concluded with individual presentation by 50 students on Thursday.
Ms. Chalak Lowang, Guest Asst. Professor and the programme Coordinator welcomed the Resource Person and briefed about the objectives of the viva voce and its benefits to the students. 
Ms. Minam Pertin, Resource person who is a researcher and Botanist by profession, stressed on the health of environment for a better world and the role of man towards it. She added that what we do today is going to affect our tomorrow. Hence, a healthy and clean environment should be a matter of concern for all of us.
