Bomdila, Sep 7: The District Football Tournament 2022 being organised by the West Kameng District Football Association, got underway today here at the Buddha Stadium.  The tournament is being organised with a distinctive message of “Say No To Drugs, Yes To Sports”. The scourge of drug abuse has been a big nuisance in West Kameng district.
Chief guest Rinchin Z Merakpa, chairperson, West Kameng Zilla Parishad  urged players and the audience to keep strict vigil on use and distribution of narcotics and psychotropic substances.
The first match of the tournament was played between Dirang Dzong and Mon Drangnang Tsoruk.
