YUPIA, Mar 17: Papum Pare District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) conducted a one day awareness programme on disaster management at Girls Residential School Yupia today in collaboration with 12Bn NDRF, Itanagar.
The NDRF team lead by Sub Inspector Gyana Nand Shah demonstrated on relief and rescue
operations methods during natural calamities like earthquake, landslide, flood and fire accidents.
He also briefed on the dos and don’ts on disaster preparedness and advised the young students to take advantage of the awareness programme.
