ITANAGAR, Dec 2: One Mudang Yabyang, a differently abled person claimed that the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has deprived her despite qualifying for the post of lecturer in Govt. Polytechnic College.
Addressing media persons at Arunachal Press Club, Yabyang informed that after four years long fight for the reservation of PWD in various departments since 2018, the first advertisement for the post of lecturer for Govt. Polytechnic of Arunachal Pradesh under APPSC was released and the interview was conducted on 20th April 2022. 
"I was the only candidate eligible for the post as per the required criteria set by the Commission to be eligible for the post of Lecturer (as per reservation PWD candidate)and I had qualified the Recruitment Test by scoring more marks than few of the normal category APST candidates and made it to the Viva Voce. But at the final stage, I was disqualified and was given 46.5 out of 100 marks in an unfair interview by the members of the Commission," she alleged.
Yabyang also informed that she had approached the Chief Secretary and Chief Minister for their intervention in the long pending case of deprivation of her rights. 
"After examination of the case by the CMO, a reconsidering letter was written but unfortunately, this time again, the Commission has given the excuse that due to the absence of the Chairman the necessary action regarding my case cannot be resolved," she said.
