YUPIA Nov 17: District Health Society, Papum Pare district met on Friday under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Dr.Joram Beda here to discuss and review the financial expenditure of Rogi Kalyan Samiti (RKS), gap analysis for Health and Wellness Centre, Mission Indradhanush and Mission Prati Raksha of first round and Rastriya Bal Swasthya Kosh (RBSK) school visit. Dr.Beda pointed out poor financial progress of many schemes and directed CMS TRIHMS and all MO In-charge to achieve 100% fund utilization by the end of second quarter.

He opined that poor performance of JSK is because of tendency by expecting mothers from villages to deliver in hospitals in Capital Complex. “We need to sync our efforts in JSY ( Janani Suraksha Yojana) with Mother-Child tracking system,” he said.

 DC reiterated DA’s position to solve the land issue of CHC Doimukh so that the project can be completed at the earliest. Further, he expressed disappointment on poor performance of RBSK because of poor funding. RBSK doctors pointed out that they have not been provided with any funds for vehicles to conduct field visits.

 Among others who attended the meeting were CMS TRIHMS Dr. Hage Ambing, MS Dr.T Taki, DRCHO Dr. Worar Taku, and other departmental heads.
