ITANAGAR, OCT 31 : On the eve of 50th Arunachal Pradesh Police  Raising day, games and sporting competition was kicked off by DGP Satish Golchcha today.
DGP assured to improve APP Raising day competition in coming years. He also assured to provide all kind of required facilities to police sports personnel who represent APP in sporting platform. Further, next year competition for lady police will also be included, he said.
This mega event is being organised by APP sports control board under the aegis of PHQ Itanagar.
Earlier this event had been divided into 8 zones  and after competing in each zone only winners of respective zone arrives for championship round which was inaugurated today.
The events are football, volleyball, badminton, athletics and firing.
IGPs Chuku Apa, IGP Apur Bitin IGP Take Ringu, IGP Michi Paku and Capital based SPs and Dy SPs attended the inaugural ceremony.
