TEZU, Jul 8: Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein inaugurated a photo exhibition and gallery at the District Secretariat, Tezu in  presence of Member of Parliament Tapir Gao, Health & Family welfare Minister Alo Libang, RWD Minister Honchun Ngandam, Deputy Speaker Tesam Pongte, MLAs of Eastern Parliamentary Constituency, Deputy Commissioners, DRDA Project Directors and DPOs of 11 districts.
The Photo Gallery-cum-Exhibition initiated by the Lohit District Administration is aimed to preserve old memories of the people and distinguished dignitaries visits during the erstwhile undivided Lohit district. The Photo Gallery exhibited around 1500 photographs dating more than 40-50 years. The District Administration, Lohit plans to set up a museum in the old DC Office complex soon to utilise the infrastructure and preserve the local history for posterity. DIPRO
