PASIGHAT, May 24:    The much awaited power supply to DDSE Office, campus became a reality today with the inauguration by Er. Joram Lali, Executive Engineer, Pasighat, Electrical Division who unveiled the Board and switched on the power button.

  While speaking on the inauguration function, Jongge Yirang, DDSE, East Siang informed that, since the shifting ofDDSE office to Gumin Nagar, 2 Mile area around 3 years ago, the office was functioning without power supply and staff were facing lots of hardship in discharging their official assignments. After taking the charge of DDSE, Pasighat couple of months ago he approached the District Administration for help as the office condition was very poor without power supply.

Yirang also expressed thankfulness to MLAs Lombo Tayeng, Kaling Moyong and Kento Rina and officers of Power department for their full cooperation and technical supports including former DC Isha Khosla during whose tenure the move for electrification had picked momentum.

In his speech, Er. Joram Lali appreciated the efforts of DDSE and expressed that, the dedication and sincerity of a government officer is reflected in his deeds and action. He informed that, power department has extended full co-operation and support toDDSE keeping in view of the hardship faced by the office even though it was out of norms. He advised the DDSE staff not to misuse electricity and appealed all to create awareness on energy conservation for the greater interest of the society. He also advised to use star rated appliances and Led bulbs which are more energy & cost efficient in the long run. He also informed about his department that, due to concerted efforts of his officers and field functionaries the overall power scenario in the district has also improved a lot.
