YINGKIONG, Jun 7:The District Development Co-ordination & Monitoring Committee (DDCMC) meeting under the Chairmanship of MP Ninong Ering was held here today. Minister, RD & PR Alo Libang, District Head of Officers and PRI members attended the meeting.
MP cum Chairman of the DDCMC, Ering stressed on the need for timely submission of reports and returns for flow of funds with mandatory quarterly meeting. He called on the District Head of offices and all stakeholders to ensure that they attend such important meeting. He asked the officers to through the guidelines of the new schemes make the people understand about it to take the benefits by conducting awareness programmes, meetings & training. He appealed all the stakeholders to put up an integrated and combined efforts with a mission to do something for the people of the remote Upper Siang district.
Minister RD & PR Alo Libang directed the executing agencies of various state and central flagship programmes to prepare hard and soft copy on progress and make circulation on advance to all the stakeholders for cross-checking, observations and easy understanding of all the members. He asked the PRI members monitor the schemes in their respective villages and also the HoDs to aware the PRI members about the schemes. Adding that there is no room for delicacy of works rather the executing agency should ensured quality of works which will be detected through Geo-tagging.
The District Head of officers presented the physical & financial achievement of centrally sponsored schemes of their respective departments.
