PASIGHAT, May 3: Accompanied by a team of officers including SDO Olak Apang, EACs Mum Messar and Yamo Tamut, East Siang Deputy Commissioner Tayi Taggu today visited Sainik School, Patanjali Palm Oil factory and the Atterson Alloys Industry in the Industrial Growth Centre at Niglok to access the functioning of the factories.
The DC inspected various ongoing construction works in the Sainik School and expressed satisfaction over the development. He also discussed various issues with the school Principal Cmdr. Praveen Kumar Pola and assured to extend all possible help and cooperation from the district administration. 
While interacting with the officials of the factories,  it was informed that managements were actively taking steps to ensure that the factories don’t pollute the environment and were implementing various pollution control technologies, adhering to environmental regulations and monitoring air and water control quality. However, the DC advised for proper management of sorting, recycling and depositing of waste property ensuring to prevent pollution.
