HAWAI, Jul 7: In view of widespread occurrences of rockslides in Anjaw area, Deputy Commissioner, Mamata Riba visited the road blockade at Hayuliang-Chaglagam road on Wednesday last and took stock of the situation.

During her visit to the affected area, the officials of 116 BRTF, who have been engaged with men and machinery informed that the BRTF team has put all effort but shooting stones have restricted work to a large extent. However, they assured clearance within two to three days.

The administration has also issued an advisory to avoid  forceful crossing of jagged rocks by foot in order to avoid casualty.

Administrative officers have been on alert at circle and  headquarters level and  DFCSO  and DDMO  have been detailed for tackling the situation during  the  season.
