PASIGHAT, Jul 4: Awareness cum Mobilization Programme on effective implementation of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Grameen (PMAY-G) for Ruksin and Bilat CD Blocks was conducted today at Bilat circle headquarters under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner East Siang, Tayi Taggu.
The programme was attended by the Project Director DRDA Tajing Padung, CO cum BDO Ruksin Oyam Saring, CO cum BDO Bilat Dr. TD Bapu, GBs, PRI members and PMAY (G) beneficiaries of both Blocks.
The DC interacted with the beneficiaries and sought explanation from them as well as the officials for non completion of construction works under PMAY(G). He also heard their grievances in length and stressed upon the importance of timely completion of the construction under PMAY(G). Further, the DC instructed the GBs and PRI members along with the officials to monitor the progress of the work from time to time and report to the authority for the early saturation of the scheme.
Among others, PD Tajing Padung, COs Oyam Saring and Dr. TD Bapu, representatives from GBs, PRI members and beneficiaries also spoke on the occasion.
