Roing, Feb 4: The 3rd Quarter District Level Monitoring Committee Meeting was held today at the project construction site of the District Emporium, being constructed under the Chief Minister's District Innovation and Challenge fund. 
21 major projects were selected for detailed review and various other schemes under various departments were reviewed. 
The Deputy Commissioner cum Chairperson (DLMC) Soumya Saurabh emphasised on site inspections of projects on a regular basis instead of just presenting on papers and through PowerPoint.  She also stressed on maintaining quality and timely completion of projects. The DC directed user agencies to submit reports of inspections of projects on a weekly  basis. 

ZPMs and CBO members from IMCLS and ABK also spoke about mandatory attendance of HoDs in such meeting and regular inspections of the major projects. 
After the meeting, the DLMC members inspected the under construction Emporium for Textile & Handicraft under CMDI& CF, C/o Indoor Stadium under Khelo India and C/o Model Residential School, Roing under PMJVK. 
Member Secretary (DLMC) requested the construction agencies to deposit the electricity and water connection component to Power and PHED for quality works and to avoid future complications. DIPRO
