KHONSA, Jun 1:Deputy Commissioner cum chairman of NERCORMP- Tirap , PN Thungon made a surprise visit to the sanitary napkin making unit at Khonsa accompanied by the DDSE. He interacted with NERCORMP BDO and Women Development SHG and enquired about the production and supply chain and suggested how it can collaborate with Education department for distribution to girl students.

DC inspected the natural raw materials and was given a  demonstration of the production process.

The SHGs expressed few requirements for smooth functioning of the unit.
