Itanagar, Jun 17:  Deputy Commissioner Capital Itanagar Talo Potom alongwith a team of officials and engineers from Itanagar Smart City Development Corporation Limited visited the Ganga market to take stock of the difficulties faced by the vendors and implementation of smart city project for the benefit of the vending communities. 
ISCDCL has proposed to facelift the Ganga market by constructing a multi-level vending zone with modern amenities. The proposed structure shall be a pre-fabricated one to reduce the construction time.  The DC has assured to provide alternative temporary vending area to the affected vendors till then and sought their cooperation as the multi level vending zone would accommodate lot of vendors once it is constructed.
Later at his office, Potom  convened a meeting wherein he reviewed the progress of Artesian cum Handicraft Exhibition Centre at WRD complex Chimpu. 
The engineers from ISCDCL informed that the centre shall be of a pre-fabricated structure to cut the construction time.
