PASIGHAT, Sep 3: East Siang Deputy Commissioner Tayi Taggu accompanied by the Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) EE Kipa Gagung and AE Nagram Mire on Saturday inspected three major ongoing constructions/projects at Pasighat. The engineers informed the DC that the proposed PMC office building, funded under fourteen finance commission would be completed within one year. Under Smart City Mission, construction of Solid Waste Management Plant (SWMP) at 2-mile under PMC and PSCDCL would be completed in next ten months while construction of Sewage Treatment Plant (STP taken up under PSCDCL, amounting to Rupees 43 Crores would be completed by 2023.
The DC expressed his happiness over the development and instructed the contractors to ensure quality work and durability and to complete within the timeframe. Taggu stressed for physical presence and constant monitoring of the concerned engineers to guide the contractors in implementing the projects. DIPRO
