Likabali, Sep 9: Deputy Commissioner Rujjum Rakshap today carried out an extensive inspection of ongoing developmental projects under Koyu Circle.
During the inspection, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed the blacktopping of the road from Kora Administrative Centre towards Tene Camp and expressed concern over delays in execution. He directed the concerned department to speed up the work without compromising on quality standards, stressing that better connectivity is essential for overall development and easing public hardship.
Rakshap also inspected the Pikte Bridge over the Simen River, a key infrastructure project aimed at strengthening regional connectivity. He further reviewed the ongoing road-cutting works being undertaken to connect Koyu, Tabiripo, and Lipin villages with the rest of the district, terming these projects crucial for linking remote villages with the outside world.
In addition to road and bridge works, the Deputy Commissioner inspected school building projects across Koyu Circle. He instructed the DDSE and executing agencies to ensure timely completion with adequate infrastructure facilities to provide a better learning environment for students.
The Deputy Commissioner urged all officials and executing agencies to work with sincerity, dedication, and accountability, reiterating the government’s commitment to improving infrastructure, connectivity, and public service delivery at the grassroots level.
