KHONSA, Mar 15: Deputy Commissioner, Tirap, Taro Mize today inspected a slew of JJM, PMGSY projects currently under construction in the district.
While taking stock of the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) drinking water supply projects in Lamsa and Kolagaon (Old Changnyak) villages, the DC found them satisfactory in terms of progress and asked the EE PHE&WS Er. Bamang Tasung to ensure timely completion of all such projects in the district. He further informed that all JJM projects in the state are being monitored by the Chief Secretary himself. AE (PHE&WS) Er. Taya Doni and other officials accompanied the DC. During inspection of ongoing construction works of the PMGSY road in Kolagaon the DC found the black topping works at few locations substandard and asked the EE, RWD, Khonsa to exercise proper monitoring and supervision for ensuring work quality.
The DC informed he will revisit the road project in the later part of the month for a further review. DIPRO
