AALO, Oct 16: The Deputy Commissioner Shi-Yomi, Mito Dirchi chaired the all important meeting of double laning of Tato-Mechuka Highway at his office at Tato today.
Important issue like early commencement of road widening in the said package from a point, safety of life and properties of the residents during the work session, timing of the work with intermittent stops for the commuters, and tourists to pass through on their way to Mechuka were discussed threadbare in the discussion. Other important areas of contemplation and resolutions passed were on identified muck deposition spots, encroachments within RoW, construction of retaining walls and shifting of electrical poles and water pipes.
