TAWANG, Sep 12: A meeting of the District Level Monitoring Committee (DLMC) cum review of the District Development Report (DDR) was convened under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Tawang, Namgyal Angmo.
The Deputy Commissioner instructed all administrative officers to conduct regular site inspections and submit their reports accordingly. She also directed that officers (adopters of schools) must visit the schools at least once a month and furnish their observations.
DC reviewed the status and progress of all the programs/projects in the district and also took a detailed review of the revenue generation status of various departments. She urged all departments to work in close coordination for effective implementation of government programmes and schemes at the grassroots level.
Asst. Commissioner-cum-DPO Tawang, Sangey Wangmu Mosobi highlighted the importance of the structured reporting format (of DDR) for assessing the overall performance of the district. She emphasized on the need to monitor the progress of saturation under various schemes and directed that revenue collection data be duly reported for effective review.
