AALO, May 2: The District Consultative Committee, District Level Review Committee and District Level Security Committee Meeting was held under the chairmanship of West Siang Deputy Commissioner, Moki Loyi on April 30. All Bank Managers, Head of offices and other stakeholders took part in the meeting.
Chairing the meet, Loyi urged the Banking institution to develop a people friendly attitude to make innocent people aware of the loans and its repayments under various bank sponsored schemes through awareness campaigns wherever possible. He also stressed on looking into the problems of senior citizens who cannot stand in long queues by making minimum sitting arrangements wherever possible. The district administration has been involved in Bakijai cases when and where ever approached, he said. Convening the programme, DK Gogoi LDM, Lead bank Office, West Siang spelt out the main objective of the meeting and called for improving credit flow, credit priority sector, schematic progress, NPA and Recovery of government sponsored loans. The Branch Managers from different Banks of the district and Head of Offices also shared their problems and progress in the meeting. DIPRO
