Ziro, Sep 25: In view of the upcoming Ziro Festival of Music scheduled to be held from September 25 to 28, a site inspection drive of stalls and campsites operating at various locations across Ziro was conducted on Wednesday evening.
The inspection aimed to ensure that all vendors and campsite operators are operating with valid trade licenses, necessary liquor permits and in compliance with established norms. The inspection exercise was also carried out for their smooth functioning and to curb illegal activities and to create a safe and secure environment for the thousands of visitors expected to arrive for the festival.
The inspection team included CO Mide Bage, Superintendent of Tax & Excise Takhe Riniyo Nani, DTO (i/c) Khoda Yakang Millo, Trade Development Officer Tai Arun and other concerned officials.
Authorities have appealed to all vendors, stall owners, and campsite operators to cooperate with the administration and strictly adhere to the prescribed guidelines, ensuring that the festival remains a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience for visitors and tourists alike.
