Ziro, Aug 11: The Deputy Commissioner of Lower Subansiri District, Oli Perme, chaired a preparatory meeting for the upcoming Ziro Festival of Music (ZFM) 2025 here today.
The meeting witnessed the participation of administrative officers, police, HoDs, ZPC, ZPMs, representatives from various community organisations along with the organiser of ZFM, Hano Bobby.
In the meeting, various aspects of event planning, security arrangements, crowd management, infrastructure readiness, and coordination among stakeholders were discussed in detail to ensure the smooth conduct of the festival. The Deputy Commissioner urged all departments and organisations to work in close coordination to make the festival a grand success, highlighting its importance as a cultural and tourism attraction for the district.
Further, there will be a separate meeting of the DC with hotel owners and homestay owners regarding accommodation arrangement and proper verification of guests. Also, the Superintendent of Police will have a special meeting with the organisers and local volunteers for efficient traffic management during the festival.
As reported by the organisers, this year ZFM will be held from September 25 to 28.
