TEZU, Jun 1: The Lohit District Administration and District Tobacco Control Cell, Tezu conducted surprise raid with the help of police personnel at various businesses in the township and seized huge amount of tobacco products. 
Shops found selling tobacco products with no displayed picture and health warning were penalized under Cigarettes and Other Products Tobacco Product Act (COPTA). Shops selling tobacco products around 100 yards of educational institution were also penalized under COPTA.
Later the seized tobacco products were burnt by the flying squad team.
