Itanagar, July 15: The Capital district administration carried out Inner Line Permit (ILP) checking drive and at least four persons without legal documents were externed to Assam.
The drive was carried out by EAC Datum Gadi and DPO cum Special Magistrate Chuku Talo along with Inspector Take Tasso and CRPF team at Akashdeep, Ganga market area today.
During the checking drive, 10 persons were found to be without ILPs and were brought to the DC office. Those defaulters who had ILP but did not possess it at the time of checking were directed to produce ILP through their friends and family members, informed Gadi.
Later, those who produced ILPs were released immediately after verification and rest four persons without ILP were externed to Assam through Police Check Gate, Hollongi, he further informed.
Gadi informed that the District Administration would continue with the checking drive in the coming days too.
