Itanagar, Aug 23: As per the direction of the Deputy Commissioner, Itanagar Capital Complex, the CO Naharlagun, Neelam Teji today carried out a surprise checking on follow up of traffic rules and lane discipline at Naharlagun.

During the course of the checking, Teji informed that 46 violators were penalized and 13 violators were issued with challans to attend court at JMFC, Yupia.

The DC informed that more such checkings would be carried out regularly to ensure that traffic rules are properly enforced. He has requested the people of the Capital Complex to cooperate with the district administration and abide by the traffic rules.
