Roing, Jul 18: A surprise inspection was conducted at Meka and adjoining areas of Roing today to streamline the businesses with regards to Trade License and to check malpractices prevailing in the market.
Acting on complaints received, the team consisting of CO Gaurav Panwar, Inspector Trade & Commerce, Officials of Tax, Excise & Narcotics department along with police personnel carried out the surprise check in Meka village and adjoining areas.
Several shops and restaurants operating without license were instructed for permanent closure.
