ITANAGAR, Apr 24: The Capital District Administration on Monday carried out an eviction drive against the encroachment of government quarters at H-sector Itanagar. The eviction was carried out on the basis of an order being passed by the court of Deputy Commissioner under Section 12 of Arunachal Pradesh Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorised Occupants) Act, 2003.
Notice was already served to those who illegally encroached government quarter type – I and hearing has been also done, said EAC Nangram Pingkap.
DA has already given ample time to the encroacher, since they could not produce authentic supporting documents (land allotment), under section 12 of the Arunachal Pradesh Public Premises Eviction of Unauthorized Occupant Act 2003, eviction was carried out, he added.
