PASIGHAT, Jun 26: A coordination meeting was held this evening at DC office Conference hall under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Tamiyo Tatak regarding the 12 hour proposed bandh on June 28, called by the All East Siang District Student Union (AESDSU). The meeting was attended by SP Prashant Gautam, ADCs of Pasighat, Mebo and Ruksin, admin officers, representatives of AEDSSU and AdiSU, NGO, retired and senior members of society.

AESDSU has been demanding the state home department to hand over the Late Ojing Taying murder case to CBI. Ojing was attacked by miscreants on 10th June night last year by two unidentified persons at Itanagar which caused his death.

DC, SP, officers and leaders present in the house stated that they understand the sentiment of the AESDSU members and justice must be delivered. Seeking cooperation, they asked the members to review their stand and to adopt alternative means democratically instead of bandh informing that the Supreme Court of India has declared any bandh call by political parties, organizations or associations or groups or individuals as unconstitutional and illegal.
