ZIRO, Nov 14: The first ever Cycle race for children under 12 years of age was organised by the Ziro Mountain Bike Club at Padi Yubey outdoor stadium, Hapoli  today on the occasion of Children's Day.
The event was flagged off by District Agriculture Officer Tasso Butung in the presence of officials from sports department.
Twenty five children participated in the event.
Mondop Lahiri,11, won the first prize. Aiti Lama,11 and Michi Lari,11, came 2nd and third respectively.
Punyo Jaber,7 was adjudged as Emerging Rider.
