Namsai, Jan 23: The CRPF 186 Battalion, under its Civic Action Programme, organized a career counselling programme at Sagar Vidya Niketan, Jona-II, Namsai. The event aimed to inspire and guide students toward career opportunities in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and beyond.
During the programme, Commandant , CRPF-186-Bn DK Sing addressed the students, encouraging them to explore various career paths within the CRPF. He highlighted entry options through sports, engineering, and professional courses, along with opportunities to serve as officers and jawans. His motivational speech inspired students to aim high and consider a future in the CRPF, emphasizing the organization’s commitment to national service.
In addition to the counselling session, the CRPF donated sports equipment, solar street lights, and a water filter to the school. These contributions aim to improve the quality of life and infrastructure for the students and the surrounding community.
Commandant Singh assured continued support to the school and the region, stating that more initiatives would be undertaken in the future to aid education and community development.
The programme was well-received by students, teachers, and community members, further strengthening the bond between the CRPF and the local population,stated a release.
