ITANAGAR, Jul 7:The Arunachal Cosplay Club (ACC) founding member, Junnu Pinggam, who is participating in World Cosplay Summit 2017 at Nagoya, Japan, has sought financial help from State government for her team member in winning the prestigious title.

Earlier, Junnu Pinggam and Gichik Charcha had secured first runner up at the World Cosplay Summit held at Mumbai 2016 and won many titles in regional and national level.

Addressing reporters, Pinggam said that Cosplay is becoming a trend now in Arunachal and after almost a hundred have joined the club after its establishment.

When asked about the reasons behind asking help from the government, Pinggam replied that earlier the club used to bear expenses on their own, when it is about participating in regional level. Now this time things are different as we are participating in international level and we may not be able to bear the huge expenditures, she added.

The World cosplay summit is  going to be held from July 29 to August 6 next at Nagoya, Japan, where the cosplayers from 30 countries will be competing for the world cosplay title 2017.
