ITANAGAR, Jun 8:The Confederation of Service Associations of Arunachal Pradesh (CoSAAP) has vehemently condemned the barbaric vandalizing of the official residence of the Director of Animal Husbandry, Veterinary & Dairy Development (AHV&DD) and assaulting a member of the family by a group of miscreants at D-Sector, Nirjuli.
The incident took place on June 4 last, when a group of 7 miscreants forcefully entered in the official quarters of the Director at around 9.30 am while the Director was away in Itanagar on official work. The miscreants vandalized the quarter, manhandled a member of the family, switched off the CCTV Cameras, searched the whole house and took away valuables before leaving. They have even threatened the Director with dire consequences if he fails to pay them money, the CoSAAP informed in a release this evening.
The CoSAAP has sought the arrest of the culprits immediately and to make public their identities. If also demanded a ban on unrecognized organizations in the name of student communities. It further asked the government to provide sufficient security to the Director and his family members and directorate office.
